Considering that radiator may still be new to many people, we provide ten common questions and answers about radiator for you to get started.
1. How do you remove the radiator cap from a car radiator and replace the antifreeze?
Push down on the cap and turn it counter clockwise, to the left. Make sure the vehicle is cool or has cooled down before taking off the radiator cap. You can get seriously burned if you are not careful. You can just add antifreeze to your Grand Prix. Make sure you get the right antifreeze. There are two different types os antifreeze and if you mix the two they have a tendency to gel and it's bad for the motor. Just ask at a parts store what type of antifreeze your vehicle needs.
2. is used radiator worth getting
Some things to consider since you asked. A new radiator will cost you under $100. How much for a used one? Do you have to spend the time to remove the old one from a salvage yard vehicle and or pay shipping? Also factor in how long you want to drive the car, a few months, years? The used radiator does not come with a warranty and is as old as your current one and could leak at anytime.
3. Radiator coolant looks hot but is cold?
Maybe the head gasket is blown and they removed the thermostat to reduce the symptoms. ( During warm up with a thermostat, there is a big pressure increase that pushes the coolant through the head gasket) Without the thermostat you could test drive it and never notice anything... now you are screwed.
4. HELP! in home radiator heat issues?
call your landlord, you may not have much control over this as the boiler may not be set to come on yet
5. 1999 ford taurus radiator flush?
You need to find the leak. Flushing the system is a waste of time. You need to fill it and keep it filled up. A leak should not be that hard to spot. ...
6. where is the radiator drain located at?
newer vehicles do not have a drain but you can unhook the bottom hose and drain it that way, also on older models you have to look on the bottom passenger side of radiator and you will see the pecock just turn it counter clock wise and it should start flowing out from there
7. what is the best RADIATOR brand?
I've never heard of a radiator that only lasts a "few years"! And I've owned a lot of cars. You are not using straight anti-freeze are you? Most radiators should last almost as long as the car unless damaged in some way. You might be able to find the original radiator for your car at a junkyard.

9. 02 wrx koyo radiator help!?
Why exactly does it have such a huge radiator? I have never had cooling issues with my stock one even on a past car with a front mount in front of it. I honestly would suggest selling it and getting a new stock one if it keeps giving you trouble. I have also seen a few monster builds at local shops with the stock radiator and they are at track events pretty regularly.
10. The radiator seems to be full of a mixture of motor oil and radiator fluid. Should I ditch it after repairs?
wow! That's serious. Most likely you have a cracked block. You need a new engine! Get a junk yard engine to save some money, then after replacing the engine, you will not have to sell it. Oh crud! I did not see until now the rest of your post. If it is a 2012 under warranty, then get rid of it. You got a lemon!
