If the thermostat is working and the radiator fan kicks in .. what you are hoping for is an air lock... anything else could be costly... but air bubbles usually occur after you've let the coolant run really low or when you've been working on the pipes and had cause to empty the system .... most coolant systems have a bleed cap.... find it, open it slightly and start squeezing the pipes from the bottom of the rad... till the air is pushed out and water flows.... turn on the heater to get the air from the heater pipes too... yep its an airlock or blockage.. depending on what state the fins inside the rad are in.... if there's no bleed cap, you could try dropping the bottom hose and flushing through... the refit and refill... worst case ... There's a chance the water pump may have given up the ghost... maybe a fin has rotted and broken off and the coolant is not being pushed through....

Hi Paul, Radiator leaks can be difficult to locate, also, because water is a fluid, it can drop some distance away from the actual leak-location. Water-pump gaskets, water pump seals are another source of water leaks. Most engine blocks are fitted with several expansion plugs along one side of the engine block. They can corrode over time and leak. Their function is to protect the engine-block if the cooling liquid happened to freeze. There is a pressure pump-kit used by motor mechanics to pressurize the cooling system in order to detect the integrity of the cooling system. I clearly remember having to remove a radiator, take it to a large trough of water where I immersed it. I had blocked the top and lower hose-connection points and applied compressed air to the radiator drain valve in order to locate the leakage source. One of the cooling tubes needed to be re-soldered. If the radiator is old, it may have extensive corrosion and should be replaced. It is important to correctly locate the leak-source in order to avoid unnecessary work and costs. It might also help if a dye was introduced into the cooling system in order to detect where the leak is. It would leave a dye trace at the leak site. One more possibility: If the thermostat has failed in the 'closed' position, the water-flow from the engine through the top hose will be restricted; that will cause a rise in temperature of the cooling system and the pressure generated will force water out through the radiator overflow pipe. The loss of water will cause the engine temperature to rise and could damage the engine. Ideally, you should have the cooling system checked out by qualified personnel. Hope that helps.

Proper way to clean Radiator?Flush it, and then run some clean water in it and flush that out also. Then use either soft water or distilled water in a 50/50 mix and pour that into the radiator. You need to find out where, and fix it. Fill that radiator with water with the engine off. leave the filler cap off. Start the engine and let it idle. Turn the heater on This will allow flow through the heater and eliminate air in the system. After it warms up a bit, the thermostat should open and you should start to see flow at that cap. The water level will probably drop. Top it up. Wait for air bubbles from inside to clear, and top up again. Once it seems full, Replace the cap and let it idle a few more minutes. Then fill the reservoir to the 'hot' line. As it cools the engine should draw water back from that reservoir. Now re-start then engine and let it warm again. look for steam leaks once it's good and hot. Pay special attention to hose joints and that radiator cap. If you see nothing there, start looking at the radiator itself. Once the leak is corrected, you want to mix anti-feeze/water about 50/50. At present, high-power LED light sources are divided into two types. One is array distributed high-power LED light source, which distributes several LEDs in the array, as shown in Figure 1. The other is an integrated high-power LED light source, which integrates and packages several LEDs together, as shown in Figure 2. The two types of LED lamps are different in light distribution curve, occupied space and heat dissipation due to different LED chip layout. Relatively speaking, the lamps made of integrated high-power LED light source have lighter quality and less materials in terms of packaging materials. Compared with array distributed high-power LED light source, they can also meet the requirements of street lamp lighting, which is the development trend of street lamps in the future. Therefore, a smaller fin thickness can be selected to reduce the quality without increasing the temperature as much as possible.Among the 25 experiments, it can be known that the effect is the best at the 25th time, that is, a5b 5C 4d3e 2F1. I was trying to figure out how I can move them so while pushing and pulling on them, I noticed that one of them was stuck. Looking at it closer, I was able to recognize that it was stuck against the throttle position sensor.The point I am trying to make is that I was so happy I recognized what it was stuck against. I knew exactly what it was and what it does. Throttle position sensor sends data to the ECU about how much throttle is applied. It senses the position of the throttle. As you turn the grip, cables open a butterfly that lets air into the engine. The fuel system must spray enough fuel into the engine to compensate for the air going in. The TPS tells it how much air is going in and the ECU figures out how much fuel to spray.This valve adjustment job is going to take a little longer than I would planned I am afraid as I still have not removed the valve cover. I have the coolant drained, radiator removed, spark plug wires and spark plugs out. There's nothing between me and the valve cover right now. I think I will get the valve cover off tomorrow and take my measurements. Then once I know if any or all cams are coming out, I can do the actual shim replacement this weekend. I would like to imagine I wo not need to replace any shims but the bike has been getting buzzier lately which is a tell tale sign that I am going to have some out of spec clearances. At least I hope they are all on one side(intake or exhaust) so I do not have to remove both camshafts
