Considering that radiator may still be new to many people, we provide ten common questions and answers about radiator for you to get started.
1. Cost to replace radiator hose?
You have a car that is 23 years old. Unless you have already replaced one of the radiator hoses then replace them both at the same time not just one of them. They are easy to replace and all you need is common hand tools. This would be a good time to replace the thermostat and flush the system and install fresh coolant. Mix the coolant 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water
2. Poll: What made your day today?
i have put red and blue LED lights all behind my computer desk and radiator and it looks really smart i am loving them....you cant see the bulbs just the lights
3. My car radiator is leaking??

6. Do I have a leak in my radiator?
if the radiator was leaking it would show on the ground. check the floor on the passenger side for anti-freeze, the heater core might be leaking. check the oil and is it blowing white smoke out the tailpipe? it could be a head gasket or intake leaking.
7. where is laguna radiator cap?
No cap. all access is via the expansion tank. Note warning on tank cap about pressure and opening hot!!
8. how do i isolate each radiator on my heating system to flush radiator by radiator?
Isolation valves are on the inlet and outlet of the radiator, if they have separate thermostats, they will be zone valves there too. I wouldnt isolate each radiator..I would open them all and then open the bypass by passing the autofeed at the boiler, then open the return valve going back to the boiler and let it push through
9. Radiator is leaking?
IF YOU KNOW WHERE IT IS LEAKING. THERE IS A RADIATOR REPAIR GOOP THAT YOU CAN BUY AT A AUTO STORE FOR UNDER 5 DOLLARS. I USED IT STILL HOLDING GOOD FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS NOW
10. Coolant reservoir empty radiator full?
As said already the expansion tank should have coolant in it to the minimum line or above all the time. They are a sealed and pressurized system so it should NEVER lose coolant unless there is a leak somewhere. As for the location of the leak you need to look everywhere first thing in the morning for any damp spots on the cooling system and engine block. If there is none then the water pump could be leaking when the engine is running BUT . . . . You say a coolant hose burst and when that happens engines overheat within seconds. There is a very good chance the head gasket has failed. get a local garage to check the coolant for exhaust gasses as that is a sure sign it has failed
11. what is in front of my radiator?
ac equiptment or tranny fluid cooler
12. how to pressurize your radiator?
the heat from your engine will pressurize it. Is their a leak somewhere? You should not need to pressurize it by yourself
13. How could my vehicle lose all coolant and oil overnight?
It could not . The oil and water are in two separate systems. It is possible that they might mix if a gasket were to fail, but the two fluids will still be there somewhere, mixed in the sump or radiator, or on the floor underneath
14. replacing radiator from my car?
i never saw that before. all the ones i ever saw was the lines screwed off
15. Transmission Fluid in Radiator and Coolant Overflow?

16. Question about coolant in reservoir and radiator?
